PAMZ’s Committees

The Technical Working Group’s (TWG) primary tasks are the operation of the zonal AQM Program, assessing the data collected by the program and recommending management strategies based on that data to the PAMZ Board.

The PAMZ Human Health Committee (HHC) acts as a forum to explore and address issues affecting human health that may be associated with air pollution. Its current focus is the development of a human health assessment and community exposure monitoring program.

The issues response group oversees the formal process used by PAMZ to identify and prioritize issues of concern to PAMZ residents and to develop actions plans to address the highest-priority issues.

The communications committee is responsible for getting information about PAMZ, its monitoring program and other activities out to the public and increasing overall public awareness and involvement in air quality issues within PAMZ boundaries.

The financial committee ensures that financial activities of PAMZ are conducted legally and in an efficient, effective and accountable manner.

The fundraising committee is responsible for raising sufficient funds to support the activities of PAMZ including the Regional AQM Program in a sustainable fashion.
